For the edgy and bold
Leading organizations toward new ways of working and guiding them to adopt an innovative mindset demands a meticulously crafted approach. Strive's commitment is rooted in ensuring innovation, simplicity, and collaboration throughout this process. The ambitious team behind Strive possesses a crystal-clear vision of how to achieve this. Therefore, our design challenge was to guarantee that their visual identity and digital presence accurately mirrored this vision in a confident yet clearly communicated manner.
To kickstart the process, we explored four distinct directions for visually conveying this message and the brand's values. To ensure a comprehensive exploration and diverse approaches, two designers independently crafted and presented two early concepts each, covering logo, colour, and graphic ideas. The Strive team opted for the edgy and bold route. We introduced a primary colour, an electric blue, as Strive's key visual element. The logo, free of a logomark, spells out the company name, placing exclusive emphasis on the wordmark. The bold underline extends beyond the characters, symbolizing progress and the concept of moving things forward – Strive's core message.
Beyond the collateral material we crafted for the brand, such as presentations, business cards and other templates, a significant application of the new visual identity was the Strive website. The design team meticulously developed a modern landing page and established a clear, well-structured flow throughout the site and its secondary pages. Custom icons and illustrations served to complete the thoughtful identity of Strive.
Since the completion of the rebranding process in 2019, Strive, like any small company, has pivoted its offerings over the years. Finally, in 2023, although the branding flexibly accommodated and accurately represented all these changes, the team decided to head in a different direction with their visual identity.
